To My Valued Guests:

    Loving Spoonful has served its last meal on Saturday, March 8, 2008. I have been fortunate to be named Chair of the Culinary Department of Schoolcraft College with which I have been associated---first as a student and later as a teacher---for most of my adult life. So my new career responsibilities mean I can no longer do justice to running the restaurant as well.

    It’s been a great run at Loving Spoonful in Farmington Hills, where we opened in September 2001, six and a half years ago. Owning and operating my own restaurant has been a dream come true. It has allowed me to build some wonderful friendships, open doors to a wide range of up-and-coming culinarians, and serve so many loyal and enthusiastic customers. I especially want to acknowledge the help of Andy, Tony, Tom, and the entire staff in helping me succeed in this important chapter in my life.

    I will still keep the Loving Spoonful brand alive, filling orders for bottles of our unique barbecue sauce and considering other ways to use it in the future. If anyone has a need to contact me, I’m always glad to hear from you at lovingspoonster@aol.com.
